Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW): Implementation of Women & Girls Human Rights, Right to Adequate Standard of Living, Right to Bodily Integrity, Right to Adequate Healthcare, and Human Rights of Girls to Education and Social Services.

VI. PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CURRENT ECONOMIC CRISIS: IMPACT AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SAN FRANCISCO’S WOMEN AND GIRLS

Speakers will provide testimony on the current economic crisis, its impact on women and girls, and how fiscal stimulus dollars should be directed towards an economic recovery that will benefit women and girls.

B. Public Comment DISCUSSION 60+ min.
The Commission will hear public comment related to the hearing topic. Public comment is limited to 2 minutes per person. Individuals wishing to make public comment are requested to complete a speaker card and will be called in the order received. Speaker cards may be submitted anonymously or using a pseudonym. The Commission also invites written testimony related to the hearing topic.
