Commissioner Keehn and Executive Director Murase will give a brief update on the status of the NIJ (National Institute of Justice) grant submission.
b. Domestic Violence Response Unit Emily Murase 5 min.
A San Francisco Police Department representative or Executive Director Murase will provide an update on the June 14, 2005 letter sent to Chief Fong regarding the possible displacement of the Domestic Violence Response Unit.

Mr. Theisen will give an update on the implementation of the Justice & Courage Oversight Panel’s media plan.
d. Funders' Summit Update Emily Murase 5 min.

Executive Director Murase will give an update on the Filipina Advisory Council.

V. NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSION/ACTION
a. Potential Oversight Panel Members Supervisor Ma 15 min.
The Oversight Panel will review the resumes of three potential Oversight Panel Members: Tülin Açikalin, Marily Mondejar, and Jill Tregor.

b. Justice & Courage Policy Analyst Emily Murase 5 min.
Executive Director Emily Murase will introduce the new Justice & Courage Policy Analyst, Aparna Reddi.

c. Update on Batters Intervention Study Commissioner Keehn 5 min.
The Panel will consider Dr. JoAnn McAllister’s letter of recommendations.
Action: Approve recommendations.

The Oversight Panel will discuss alternatives to Victim Notification System (VINE), a now abandoned victim notification system.

The Board of Supervisors has amended the Sunshine Ordinance by adding provision 67A.1. The provision is effective as of January 21, 2001.
