    Commissioner Keehn will review the current status of Panel membership.

    B. Proposed Relocation of Domestic Violence Response Unit                Dr. Emily Murase            10 min.
    Dr. Murase will provide an update on the status of the proposed relocation of the DVRU at the San Francisco Police Department.  The Panel will discuss the public’s request to hold a public hearing on the issue.
    Action: To determine next steps regarding proposed relocation of DVRU

    Commissioner Keehn will discuss concerns regarding record low staffing levels of the DVRU.

    Commissioner Keehn will discuss an overall strategic plan for the Justice and Courage Project.

    Dr. Emily Murase will discuss the status of VINE and the     San Mateo County model.

    F. Adult Probation Department Response to McAllister Study on Court Compliance                    10 min.
    Acting Chief Art Faro will provide an update on the Adult Probation Department’s response to Dr. JoAnn McAllister’s study and recommendations.

    G. District Attorney Statistics on Domestic Violence                    Dr. Emily Murase                        10 min.
    Dr. Emily Murase will discuss the District Attorney’s recent statistics regarding domestic violence.

    Beverly Upton will discuss major goals for the coming year and present an update on the Domestic Violence Cross-Training Institute Proposal.

    Garry Consolacion will report on the activities of the Filipina Community Association and the memorial event held for Claire Joyce Tempongko.

    Commissioner Keehn will discuss the agenda for the meeting with Judge Dondero to be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2005.

    B. Domestic Violence Response Team                                                     Kathryn Black                      5 min.
    Kathryn Black, Executive Director of La Casa de las Madres, will present on the creation of a San Francisco Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) through funding from the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services.

    C. Meeting with Mayor Newsom                                                       Commissioner Dorka Keehn      10 min.
    Commissioner Keehn will update the Oversight Panel on her meeting with Mayor Newsom held on     Friday, November 4, 2005.
