III. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT DISCUSSION 10 min.
Explanatory document: The Executive Director’s Report discusses the work of the Department based on the Commission’s Strategic Plan which reflects the principles of the U.N. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).
IV. CONSENT AGENDA ACTION 10 min.
All matters listed hereunder constitute a Consent Agenda and are considered to be routine by the Commission on the Status of Women. They will be acted upon by a single roll call vote of the Commission. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Commission so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. Members of the public may speak on each item listed on the Consent Agenda.

- Animal Care and Control Department Gender Analysis 30 min.
Animal Control Operations Manager Vicky Guldbech and Captain Denise BonGiovanni will provide a report on the Animal Care and Control Department based on gender analysis questions.
B. Gender Analysis of the Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families 30 min.
Director Maria Su will provide an update on the Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families and gender based data.
VII. REPORTS DISCUSSION 10 min.
Commissioners will report on activities related to the work of the Commission.

This item is to allow members of the public to address the Commission on matters that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Commission and that do not appear on the agenda, as well as to suggest new agenda items for future meetings.
