The Chair called the meeting to order at 5:34pm.  There was not a quorum present so the meeting was adjourned.

(ACTION) Review and approval of Minutes of July 12, 2007 meeting.

(DISCUSSION) Status of the department's FY 07-08 budget.

(DISCUSSION/ACTION) Begin planning for next FY budget, with all relevant partners (a-la-community based strategic planning). (Queen)

(DISCUSSION/ACTION) Review of the Dept’s fiscal operations, with recap of expenditures, budget including status of contracts, overtime and workmen’s comp, trends in expenses
