--Proposed resolution related to collection development presentation (Discussion/Action). 6:50PM

“In order to make recommendations about what public use data the SFPL should collect, the LCAC resolves to ask SFPL what public use information the Library (1) is collecting now (2) is capable of collecting and (3) plans to collect by the end of the next fiscal year?â€

--Resolution on officer's terms to be added to the LCAC Bylaws (Discussion/Action). 7:20PM Ten days public notice is required to amend LCAC Bylaws.

"The LCAC resolves that the term of its current

officers be extended two months until the May 2006

meeting. The term of the officers elected in May 2006 be extended until the July 2007 meeting."

CELL PHONE AND/OR SOUND-PRODUCING ELECTRONIC DEVICE
USAGE AT HEARINGS

Effective January 21, 2001, the Board of Supervisors amended the Sunshine Ordinance by adding the following provision: The ringing of and use of cell phones, pagers and similar sound-producing electronic devices are prohibited at this meeting. Please be advised that the Chair may order the removal from the meeting room of any person(s)responsible for the ringing or use of a cell phone, pager, or other similar sound-producing electronic devices (67A.1 Prohibiting the use of cell phone, pager, or other similar sound-producing electronic devices at and during public meetings).

City Hall, Room 278 is wheelchair accessible. The closest accessible BART is Civic Center, three blocks from City Hall. Accessible MUNI lines serving this location are: #42 Downtown Loop, and the #71 Haight/Noriega and the F Line to Market and Van Ness and the Metro stations at Van Ness and Market and at Civic Center. For more information about MUNI accessible services, call 923-6142. There is accessible parking near City Hall at Civic Center Plaza and adjacent to Davies Hall and the War Memorial.
