All LOCAL HOMELESS COORDINATING BOARD (LHCB) meetings are public. Homeless and formerly homeless San Franciscan’s are encouraged to attend LHCB meetings.

 

Note: Each public comment is limited to 2 minutes. Public comment will be taken after each agenda item. Public comment must pertain to the agenda item. General public comment is taken at the end of the meeting.

 

I.                Introduction – 5 min

 

II.Minutes from April and May 2016 Meeting—5 min (for action)

 

III.Mayor’s Office of Homelessness and Supportive Housing— 15 min (for discussion and possible action): Standing agenda item for update from the Mayor’s Office of Homelessness and Supportive Housing. Sam Dodge will give an update.

 

IV.San Francisco Shelter Monitoring Committee Appointments— 15 min (for action):  The San Francisco Local Homeless Coordinating Board will consider applications for four seats on the San Francisco Shelter Monitoring Committee. Please note that applicants who do not attend the meeting will not be appointed. One appointment will be made for each seat.

V.2016 Continuum of Care Competition Update— 10 min (for discussion and possible action): Eli Hamilton of HomeBase and the Center for Common Concerns will update the community about the 2016 San Francisco Continuum of Care Competition.

 

VI.Change to the Continuum of Care Interim Rule for Tenant Based Rental Assistance — 10 min (for discussion and possible action): Jean Waldine Field of  HomeBase and the Center for Common Concerns will update the community about the recent changes to the federal rules for tenant based rental assistance in the Continuum of Care Program that allow tenant based rental assistance recipients to use tenant based rental assistance in other jurisdictions.

 

VII.2016 Health Conference Update—5 min (for discussion): Board Member Laura Guzman will provide an update from a recent conference in Portland, Oregon.
