Accessibility Information: COVID-19 Golden Gate Park (JFK Drive) Temporary Closure
Dear Disability Community Members:
On Monday, Mayor Breed announced several temporary Park street closures to allow for physical distancing during outdoor activities for the duration of the SF Health Order, which has now been extended through the end of May.
Our colleagues in SF Recreation and Parks, with help from our colleagues in SFMTA Accessible Services, are providing free accessible shuttle service in Golden Gate Park for the duration of the COVID-19 closure. Current accessibility information follows. Please note that face coverings and appropriate social distancing are required while using the shuttle service.
From SF Recreation and Parks Department:
The shuttle will operate seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The shuttle will run from McLaren Lodge to JFK Drive and Transverse. Shuttle stops include:
+ McLaren Lodge (501 Stanyan Street)
+ JFK Drive & Bowling Green Drive
+ Conservatory of Flowers (JFK and Conservatory Drive West)
+ de Young Museum (Music Concourse loop)
+ California Academy of Sciences (Music Concourse loop)
+ Rose Garden (JFK Drive near Park Presidio)
+ Stow Lake (JFK Drive and Stow Lake Drive)
+ JFK and Transverse Drive
Accessible parking is available at the following locations:

+ Music Concourse (behind Bandshell)
+ MLK Drive & Music Concourse
+ JFK/Transverse Drive
