ADA Coordinators' Academy
The Mayor’s Office on Disability developed a Training Academy specifically designed for departmental ADA coordinators. It is a series of individually organized sessions that focus on some of the most common ADA coordinators’ questions and difficulties. You can find archived trainings in this section.
Some of the key topics that the trainings address are ADA requirements and the roles and responsibilities of an ADA coordinator, disability access to information, reasonable modifications, architectural accessibility, and the ADA grievance procedure.
