Joanna Fraguli, Deputy Director  for Programmatic Access

Joanna Fraguli is the Deputy Director for Programmatic Access at the San Francisco Mayor’s Office on Disability where she has been overseeing programmatic access compliance for City and County programs since July of 2006. In this capacity, she has been working in bringing disability issues to the forefront of policy development, communication access and customer service and has created a number of specialized training sessions for departmental staff and City contractors.

Ms. Fraguli is a graduate of UC Berkeley and obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology. She has been working in the disability community for the past twenty years in various roles that include direct service, research and advocacy. Some of her work experience includes working with disabled youth and their families, providing direct services to individuals with psychiatric disabilities and providing ADA and other disability law training and technical assistance throughout the Pacific Region. Prior to joining the City of San Francisco, Ms. Fraguli worked in the City of Sacramento implementing the Barden v. City of Sacramento settlement agreement and developing physical and programmatic accessibility in the pedestrian right-of-way.
