Voices from the Disability Community to the Task Force on Economic Recovery and Resilience - High Importance
Dear Colleagues and Community Members,
Please respond to this request by taking action by Monday, May 25, 2020.
San Francisco has established an Economic Recovery Task Force that is charged with guiding the City’s efforts through the COVID-19 recovery to sustain and revive local businesses and employment, mitigate the economic hardships already affecting the most vulnerable San Franciscans, and build a resilient and equitable future. Getting input and feedback from constituents is one of the Task Force’s first efforts. The Mayor’s Office on Disability is actively involved in the Task Force’s community engagement work, and we want to make sure that the Task Force hears from many people with disabilities. Community feedback will be taken very seriously to determine how San Francisco moves out of the Shelter in Place order.
The Task Force has issued a public survey to obtain input. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey link found at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/ERTF-Initial-Survey or at the bottom of the Task Force website located at onesanfrancisco.org/covid-19-recovery! Please make sure in your comments on the survey to mention, if comfortable doing so, that you are a person with a disability and/or have concerns related to people with disabilities.
Please pass this message on to your networks and sign up to receive Task Force updates by going to the email sign-up page.
