4. Discussion and possible action to authorize the Department through the Controller's Office to enter into contract negotiations with a qualified Executive Search Firm for the recruitment of candidates for Chief of Police (ACTION ITEM)

5. Discussion and possible action to approve the OCC Director's recommendation to eliminate three (3) vacant staff positions in the 2009/2010 OCC budget (ACTION ITEM)

6. Discussion and possible action to modify the time line for compliance with the Interim Rules and Procedures for Patrol Special Officers and their Assistants adopted in Police Commission Resolution No. 73-08 (ACTION ITEM)
