The Police Commission of the City and County of San Francisco met in Room 400, City Hall, #1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, at 5:30 p.m.

a. Chief’s Report
- Review of recent activities
Deputy Chief Biel, for Chief Suhr who is in Washington D.C., spoke in regards to recent events and the recent Boston Marathon bombing. Chief Biel also invited the Commissioners to attend the 5K walk for March of Dimes Walk for Babies this coming Saturday.
b. OCC Director’s Report
- Review of recent activities
Director Hicks spoke of recent outreach events and of the recent officer-involved shooting.

Commissioner Mazzucco commended the Chief and the Department in light of the recent Boston Marathon bombing and of attending the recent town hall meeting regarding the officer-involved shooting on DeHaro.
d. Commission Announcements and scheduling of items identified for consideration at future Commission meetings
Inspector Monroe announced that May 1st and 8th the meeting will be at City Hall.
Commissioner Mazzucco asked that the District Meeting be in Taraval and that the election of officers be on May 22nd.
Commissioner Loftus asked that an update in regards to DNA testing of rape kits.
