Meals Delivered to Seniors
Home-delivered meals support frail, homebound, and isolated seniors who are unable to shop or prepare food on their own and lack other assistance. Eligible Health Services Agency (HSA), Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS) clients receive one to two well-balanced meals a day, have their well-being monitored, and are referred to other services as needed. The home-delivered meals program helps keep seniors healthy, supports their ability to live in the community, and avoids or delays higher healthcare costs in long-term care facilities.
