1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The meeting was called to order by Chair Philip DeAndrade at 4:10 p.m.
Present: Sara Ames Babette Drefke
Absent: John Borg
2. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
The minutes of February 22, 2001, March 15, 2001 and April 11, 2001 were approved.
3. REPORT OF THE LEGISLATIVE ANALYST
Legislative Analyst Elaine Forbes provided two items: a timeline of the CEC process broken down into each of the phases; report that looks at comparable power plants throughout the state over 500 megawatts in urban areas.

4. ADOPTION OF POSITION STATEMENT REGARDING POTRERO POWER PLANT
Mr. DeAndrade gathered a variety of positions on the Potrero plant expressed by neighborhood groups, a draft document by members of the Task Force and organized various elements of each and provided a position statement for the Task Force’s review. Mr. Boss moved that the Task Force adopt the composite statement for its recommend-
ation to the Board of Supervisors regarding expansion of the Potrero power plant. After refining the language, the Task Force unanimously voted to adopt an official position which will be transmitted to the Board of Supervisors.
5. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 6:08 p.m.
