Present: Marie Hoemke, Sue Watson, Gloria Thorton, Jackie Chan, Karen Cohn and Karen Licavoli
- Previous meeting minutes approved
- Reviewed CAFA Workplan for Schools: Committee members agreed with proposed workplan with minor changes to the timeline.
- Update on meeting with Commissioner from the SFUSD Board of Education:
-Superintendent has not submitted report to Commissioner that was due in August. Will request report by mid-October.
-Commissioner will inquire about new Sustainability Director.
-ATF members will follow up with next steps for Green Asthma-Safe Cleaning Products project.
- DAT update: Gloria will follow up with the Schools Health Program regarding their informational needs.
- Tools For Schools update: Jackie is recruiting for November 12th training.
- EPP update: Year 1 will focus on purchasing and distributing new mops following up with a training component. Since mops will be gifts to the SFUSD there needs to be a resolution from the School Board to accept the gifts.
