Need CME applications to be filled out.

 

On flyer include Map and parking information (location and cost)  Public Transport

 

Speakers must bring 80 copies

 

Working hard to get free CMEs and free food.

Golden opp, spaces ltd, RSVP to reserve your space.  Need a firm commitment. 

 

Breathe CA/ATF will put together handouts.

 

Send to Anjali and Peg - CVs, learning objectives/CME app, disclosure forms, slides

 

Need from everyone in advance for CMEs- Name, address, contact info, license/certification types, license numbers

 

Get Mitch Katz to sign a letter to all supervisors to release staff.

Peg will email CME app from last year and this year’s app to fill out

 

Peg/Anjali will send out app for learning objectives to all speakers

 

Anjali will send out the agenda with next reminder and include CMEs being pending for at least 6 units.  Ask for contact and license info. Include release letter signed by Peg/Gloria

 

Anjali will visit facility, 833-3333 for KP Facilities Service.  Ask for Laptop, mic, pointer, LCD projector, lapel mic, easle for directions, thermostat control.  

 

Peg will ask KP to cover parking for speakers

 

Anjali will maintain contact with participants & speakers- remind them to send slides by Tuesday, May 1st at latest

 

Peg, Gail, Gloria, Nan will bring handouts to include in packets to April 23rd Clinical Cmte. Meeting

 

Gail  will extend invitation to PHN’s and other providers who work with asthmatics

Peg spoke with Leticia regarding newsletter, she is working on it.  

 

Will be an e-newsletter targeting participants of asthma educator network

 

Providers can be spotlighted on SFATF website, sign up at meeting

Anjali and/or Leticia will interview asthma educators for newsletter stories/profiles or website profiles.

 

Anjali will touch base with Leticia about newsletter and title

·         1st newsletter released to all SFAEN participants

Required Asthma Coursework for Medical and Nursing Licenses

Want to approach this requirement for MDs first; Look at end of life.  Go to staff at CA Medical Board.

Peg will talk to Steve Falonsby, President of CA Medical Board about the process for legislation.  Anjali/Stephanie will follow up with staff.
