Williams Settlement Remedies how they can help address IAQ issues:

District's response to teacher/student complaints about conditions in designated schools, educating the “school community” about making those complaints, the district's reimbursement/grants from the state for making "emergency repairs", the District's responsibility for assessing the physical condition of each low performing school [about a third of all schools] regarding the need to make emergency repairs, and the cost of maintaining and repairing all schools in the District, oversight and oversight reports by non-District persons, reports required to be made by the District to the State, etc.

b.  Parent Outreach Tools and Plans (30 mins)

1. Update on distribution of flyers & posters – SFUSD Administrators, Secretaries,            BVHP Carnival, DPH, others.

3. Following up with Parent Liaisons on August 31st, Parents for Public Schools

     Discuss ideas drafted for Outreach Tool on Environmentally Healthy Schools

 

5.  Implementing SF Childcare Asthma Training Ordinance (20 mins)

-Update on meeting with DCYF & next steps discussed (Anjali)
