2. 4:35 pm — Introduction of the SF VSTF Draft “Recommendations Under Consideration” Document
The San Francisco Voting Systems Task Force has produced a draft work product entitled Draft VSTF Recommendations Under Consideration and is soliciting public comment. This draft document is available at/index.aspx?page=1866 (it is under the “Working Papers” heading). The document considers possible recommendations that might be included, with supporting narrative, in the VSTF’s final report to the San Francisco City & County Board of Supervisors. This is an early stage document and does not represent any final recommendations of the VSTF.

a. Public comment. Verbal comments on the Draft VSTF Recommendations Under Consideration are limited to two minutes per speaker. The public is also invited to submit comments to by email to voting.systems.task.force@sfgov.org or by mail to Voting Systems Task Force, City Hall, Room 362, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, CA 94102.  Written comments are requested by February 24, 2010.

3. 6:05 pm— Public comment.  Verbal comments are limited to 1 minute per speaker.

4. 6:30pm — Adjournment

 
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE SUNSHINE ORDINANCE

Government’s duty is to serve the public, reaching its decisions in full view of the public.  Commissions, boards, councils and other agencies of the City and County exist to conduct the people’s business.  This ordinance assures that deliberations are conducted before the people and that City operations are open to the people’s review.

DISABILITY ACCESS

City Hall is between Grove and McAllister Streets and is wheelchair accessible.  The closest BART and MUNI Metro Station is Civic Center, about three blocks away.  Accessible MUNI lines nearest City Hall are:  42 Downtown Loop, 49 Van Ness-Mission and F-Market & MUNI Metro (Civic Center Station).

For more information about MUNI accessible services, call (415) 923-6142.  There is accessible parking available in the vicinity of City Hall.

For assistance with special needs (large print agendas, sign language interpreters, etc.), call Jill Lerner at 554-6075.

In order to assist the City’s efforts to accommodate persons with severe allergies, environmental illnesses, multiple chemical sensitivity or related disabilities, attendees at public meetings are reminded that others may be sensitive to various chemical based products.  Please help the City accommodate these individuals.
