The meeting was called to order by Task Force Chair Jody Sanford at 4:30 p.m.

2. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
By motion of Mr. Soper, seconded by Mr. Donaldson, the minutes of the January 20, 2010 meeting were approved as written.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT
No member of the public was present.
4. DISCUSSION OF “Draft Recommendations Under Consideration”
VSTF members discussed how to organize the public comment process at the February 17, 2010 meeting. It was determined that speakers would be allotted two minutes to deliver their comments, and that written comments by mail or email would be welcomed through February 24, 2010.
5. NEW BUSINESS
Jim Soper updated VSTF members on his efforts to encourage the California State legislature to reconsider elements of the Brown Act.
