1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

The meeting was called to order at 4:51 pm by Voting Systems Task Force Chair Jody Sanford.

2. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES

The minutes of the June 1, 2011, meeting were approved.

3. PUBLIC COMMENT

Members of the public in attendance: David Cary, Eva Waskell, Chandra Friese, and Meg Holmberg

4. DISCUSSION OF FINAL EDITS FOR “DRAFT RECOMMENDATIONS ON VOTING SYSTEMS FOR THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO”

Each section of the document was reviewed for the final time, and comments from all four members of the public in attendance were received and discussed. The last changes to the document were incorporated into the text.

5. VOTE TO ADOPT “RECOMMENDATIONS ON VOTING SYSTEMS FOR THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO - FINAL”

By motion of Mr. Soper, seconded by Mr. Ping, the document was unanimously adopted as

final. It will be distributed to members of the Board of Supervisors, Mayor, and other City officials before the end of June, and will be placed on the website for the public.

6. ADJOURNMENT

The meeting was adjourned at 6:36 p.m.
