Meeting Participation Instructions

We welcome the public’s participation during public comment periods.  There will be an opportunity for public comment for items not on the agenda at the end of the meeting, as well as after Information Items 3 and 4.  You can watch the cable cast on your television by going to public access Channel 26 or by live stream at SFGov.TV.

Accessibility of virtual meetings is very important to us.  We are actively working on improved ways for members of the public  to provide  comment while maintaining our ability to utilize our public access channel and also ensure meeting platform security. For Deaf individuals and others who may prefer not to use the telephone for making public comment, please fill out this online form with your comment.  It will be read aloud during the public comment segment of the Council meeting.   Since written comments submited to the Mayor’s Office on Disability and Mayor’s Disability Council are subject to public record, please remember to indicate whether or not you prefer to be identified or remain anonymous.

If you are providing comment by telephone and watching over your tv, when it is your turn to comment, please turn your television down. That way, you'll be able to follow the prompts on your telephone. Each comment is limited to 3 minutes and the Council will respond to your comments following the meeting if you provide your contact information by email message to MOD@sfgov.org with the subject “MDC comment reply request”.

You can listen to the meeting and be in sync with the live meeting when you make your comments. To provide your comments, dial the telephone number below. When you hear the prompt, enter the meeting I.D.  Then, press pound twice, and you'll have joined the proceedings as a listener.  When connected, you will hear the meeting discussions, but you will be muted and in listening mode only.

When your item of interest comes up, dial *3 to be added to the speaker line. Best practices are to call from a quiet location, speak clearly and slowly, and turn down your Television or radio.

You will be prompted when it’s your turn to make comments.
