The subcommittee meetings of the Reentry Council offer members the opportunity to dig into the issue areas described below. Ideas and recommendations generated in the subcommittees are then brought before the full Reentry Council for its consideration. Provide advice to the Reentry Council regarding the services that the reentry population need. In addition, this subcommittee works specifically to ensure people coming out of jail or prison have effective and supportive services.

Women 1st Subcommittee
Focuses on the reentry issues facing justice-involved cis and trans women and gender-nonconforming people returning to the community to ensure they have service and support to meet their unique needs.

Submitting Written Comment
Persons who are unable to attend the public meeting may submit to the Reentry Council, by the time the proceedings begin, written comments regarding the subject of the meeting. These comments will be made a part of the official public record, and brought to the attention of the Reentry Council.
