A. Sunshine Overview David Pilpel 20 min
Sunshine Ordinance Task Force Member David Pilpel will provide an overview of the Sunshine Ordinance and provide information on how to conduct a public meeting.
B. McMillan Drop-In Center Diana Valentine 15 min
The Committee will discuss the closure of McMillan Drop-In Center as a 24-hour resource center and discuss concerns of providing a 24-hour resource and drop-in services once McMillan closes.

The Committee will take nominations to fill the positions of Vice Chair and Secretary of the Committee. Elections for the positions will be held at the August 2, 2006 Committee meeting.

The Committee will review the calendar and chose an appropriate time and day for a retreat.

The Committee will discuss holding a joint meeting with the Ten Year Plan Council and the Local Homeless Coordinating Board on September 13, 2006.

The MUNI Metro lines are the F, J, K, L, M, and N (Civic Center Station or Van Ness Avenue Station). MUNI bus lines serving the area are the 47 Van Ness, 9 San Bruno, and the 6, 7, 71 Haight/Noreiga. Accessible curbside parking is available on Oak and Hickory Streets.
The ringing of and use of cell phones, pagers, and similar sound producing electronic devices are prohibited at this meeting. Please be advised that the Chair may order the removal from the meeting room of any person(s) responsible for the ringing or use of a cell phone, pager or other similar sound-producing electronic devices.
