I. NEW BUSINESS     ACTION  
A. Homeless Outreach Team    Dr. Rajesh Parekh 15 min
Dr. Parekh will answer questions posed by the Committee regarding outreach areas and priorities of the Homeless Outreach Team.

B.   Annual Report     Bernice Casey 15 min
Staff person Bernice Casey will review the 2005-2006 annual report for the Shelter Monitoring Committee and Local Homeless Coordinating Board.

C. Mission Statement     Diana Valentine 15 min
Chair Valentine will review the draft Mission Statement with the Committee and ask for additions or edits.

III. COMMITTEE MEMBERS QUESTIONS/COMMENTS ACTION   30  min
Committee Members will make announcements, ask for items to be placed on next month's agenda, and give further direction to Committee staff on follow-up items. Chair Diana Valentine will welcome new Committee Member Liz Olsen.  Staff person Bernice Casey will review her staff report including a proposed food/meal audit, the re-appointment procedure for Committee Members, and the winter and Interfaith shelters.

IV. PUBLIC COMMENT     DISCUSSION  3 min
Members of the public may address the Committee on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee for up to three minutes.  With respect to agenda items, members of the public may address the Committee for up to three minutes at the time such item is called.

V. OLD BUSINESS     ACTION
A.  Election of Secretary    Diana Valentine 10 min
Chair Valentine will ask for a motion to elect to Committee Member Quintin Mecke or Committee Member Keith Kimp for the position of Committee Secretary.

B.  St. Boniface      Diana Valentine 15 min
The Committee will discuss the status of St. Boniface and ask representatives from Human Services Agency to provide a report on when a contract with St. Boniface will be issued.

The Committee will review the correspondence between the Committee and the County Adult Assistance Program regarding shelter, food, and utilities.  The Committee will review the draft letter to CAAP.

The nearest BART station is Civic Center Plaza at the intersection of Market, Grove, and Hyde Streets.  The MUNI Metro lines are the F, J, K, L, M, and N (Civic Center Station or Van Ness Avenue Station).  MUNI bus lines serving the area are the 47 Van Ness, 9 San Bruno, and the 6, 7, 71 Haight/Noreiga.  Accessible curbside parking is available on Oak and Hickory Streets.

The ringing of and use of cell phones, pagers, and similar sound producing electronic devices are prohibited at this meeting.  Please be advised that the Chair may order the removal from the meeting room of any person(s) responsible for the ringing or use of a cell phone, pager or other similar sound-producing electronic devices.

In order to assist the City's efforts to accommodate persons with severe allergies, environmental illness, multiple chemical sensitivity or related disabilities, attendees at public meetings are reminded that other attendees maybe sensitive to various chemical based scented projects.  Please help the City to accommodate these individuals.
