NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
AGENDA/NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS BOARD No. 1 HEARING

FEDERAL RESERVE BANK –101 MARKET STREET
Under the California Constitution and applicable statutes, hearings of Assessment Appeals Boards are judicial proceedings. The decisions of Assessment Appeals Boards must be based exclusively on properly admitted evidence. Assessment Appeals Boards may not base any factual determinations necessary for their decisions on anything other than the aforementioned evidence. Information presented through public comment, unless properly admitted into evidence in compliance with the Revenue and Taxation Code and of the Property Tax Rules of the State Board of Equalization, is not evidence upon which Assessment Appeals Boards may base findings.
The Assessment Appeals Board Agenda packet and documents are available for review in Room 405 at City Hall. Each item on the Agenda may include the following documents: (1) An Application for Changed Assessment (2) Comparable Sale Information (3) Department or Agency Correspondence (4) Public Correspondence.
Public comment will be taken for items on the agenda, as well as items not on the agenda but under the jurisdiction of the Board. Each member of the public will be allotted the same number of minutes to speak to the Board. The Board may limit the total testimony to 10 minutes.
1. Convene the meeting in Room 421, City Hall.

3. The Board to resume its evidentiary hearing and discussion on the following applications regarding the assessed valuation of the following application:

4. SPECIAL ORDER – 11:00 A.M. – Move Meeting to Alternate Site
The Board will break and travel to the subject property, located at 101 Market Street, where the Board will conduct an on-site tour to better acquaint themselves with the layout of the building, particularly the Restricted Vault Area, deemed to be a trade secret of the applicant and confidential in nature as determined by the Board during in these proceedings pursuant to Revenue & Taxation Code Section 1605.4, which will close this portion from public record and access.
This meeting will be for the sole purpose of viewing the subject property. No substantive discussion will be held during this on-site tour.
5. Following the off-site meeting at the subject property, the Board to reconvene in Room 421 at City Hall to continue the hearing and discussion for the above application, and to take possible action.
6. Adjourn.
