ASSESSMENT APPEALS BOARD

In the meeting of Assessment Appeals Board Number 1 of the City and County of San Francisco, Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at 9:44 a.m.

Present: Carol Ruth Silver, Alec Lambie and Thomas Ramm

The Board commenced its meeting in open session. At the hour of 9:48 a.m., following no comment from the public, the Board convened into closed session to meet with counsel to discuss and review procedural issues in response to the taxpayers’ objection of board members Alec Lambie and Thomas Ramm seated to hear application 1997-2117.

The Board reconvened in open session at the hour of 10:15 a.m. Board members Lambie and Ramm recused themselves from further matters regarding application 1997-2117. Ms. Silver, as chairperson, instructed the clerk to reschedule application 1997-2117 before Board 2 for evidentiary hearing. The record reflects that the Assessor’s representative was present and gave comment regarding today’s meeting for application 1997-2117. Neither the taxpayer, it’s agent, nor it’s attorney were present.

The following listed applicant(s) for change in the assessed valuation of property affecting the Assessment Roll for various years being present and heard, the Board took certain actions, as specified under this date, on the original of the respective applications(s):
