ASSESSMENT APPEALS BOARD

In the meeting of Assessment Appeals Board Number 1 for the City and County of San Francisco on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 9:35 a.m.

Having no public comment and with the below listed applicant being present and heard, the Board continued its evidentiary hearing on merits of valuation affecting the various roll years at issue. At the beginning of the proceedings, the Assessor’s office confirmed that they concluded their case-in-chief presentation and asked to have the Assessor’s submitted exhibits moved into the record as evidence. The Applicant’s representative, Peter Kanter, objected to Exhibit Q. The Board concurred and accepted Assessor’s exhibits A through P as evidence in these proceedings.

The Board heard opening remarks from Mr. Kanter, after which it heard testimony from the Applicant’s first witness, Mr. John Yee, Chief Financial Officer for the Giants, followed by the Assessor’s cross-examination of Mr. Yee. The Board then heard testimony from the Applicant’s next witness, Mr. Andrew Zimbalist, a sports economists and professor. The Board took certain action, as specified under this date, on the original of the respective application:
