ASSESSMENT APPEALS BOARD

In the meeting of Assessment Appeals Board Number 1 for the City and County of San Francisco on Monday, January 30, 2006 at 9:05 a.m.

Present: Peter Fatooh, Alec Lambie, and Carol Ruth Silver

With no public present for comment, the Board went into closed session at the hour of 9:05 a.m. to review newly submitted documents and confer with legal counsel on the legal issue of whether or not the 1997 supplemental assessments were timely issued by the Assessor for the below listed applications.

At the hour of 10:32 a.m., the Board reconvened in open session and took a brief recess. At the hour of 10:45 a.m. the Board reconvened with the following listed applicant being present, the Board heard evidence and testimony from both parties regarding whether or not the statute of limitations applies to the 1997 supplemental assessments issued by the Assessor. The Board then took certain action, as specified under this date, on the original of the respective applications:

The Assessment Appeals Board reconvened at the hour of 1:33 p.m.

With the same parties present from the morning session, the Board continued to hear legal arguments from both parties regarding the Assessor’s timely issuance of the 1997 supplemental assessments for the below applications.

At the hour of 3:35 p.m., the Board took the below listed applications under submission and went into closed session to consult with counsel and to deliberate on the legal issue regarding the timeliness of the 1997 supplemental assessments issued by the Assessor. At the hour of 4:18 p.m., the Board reconvened in open session and took certain action, as specified under this date, on the original of the respective applications:
