5. New Business
A. GGNRA Off-Leash Dog Policy Changes Dropped  [Discussion][Commissioner Fortier] -
After several years, countless hearings, input from endless agencies and constituencies, the GGNRA proposed heavily restricted guidelines for off-leash dogs. However, in October, the GGNRA abruptly and without explanation cancelled all plans to implement the proposed changes. Sally Stephens, Chair of SFDog, has been following the case and advocating for dogs and their guardians. She will present what she has learned about the latest development.
B. Pet and People Disaster Preparedness  [Discussion][Commissioner Fortier] - Shari O'Neill, DVM, Veterinarian at Animal Care and Control, will discuss disaster preparedness for ourselves and our pets.

6. Old Business
A. District Supervisor Outreach   Update [Discussion/Action Item][Commissioner Fortier] - At
the Spring Rules Committee Meeting of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the Rules Committee selected new Animal Control and Welfare Commission members. At that time, some of the Supervisors asked questions about the Commission and about specific animal-related topics, such as dog licensing and excessive dog barking. Commissioners will reach out to various Supervisors in an effort to understand what kind of animal issues their offices most often hear about from their constituents and how the Commission can help.  We will hear from Commissioners who have met with Supervisors and identify Supervisors who have not yet been approached.
B. Business Cards for Commissioners  [Discussion/Action Item][Commissioner Fortier]  - Commissioners will discuss issuance of business cards for Commissioners. Without a budget from the City, funding of any supplies must be determined.

7. General Public Comment
Members of the public may address the Commission with comments or recommendations on items within the Commission's jurisdiction  other than the items on the agenda  at the beginning or end of the meeting, but not both.
