3. Approval of Draft Minutes from the November 2019 Meeting  [Discussion/Action Item]

4. Chairperson’s and Commissioners’ Reports [Discussion Item]  Commissioners’ reports regarding recent activities in the community involving animal issues that have been discussed by the Commission in the past.

5. Old Business

  1. Euthanasia Protocol at SF Animal Care and Control  [Discussion/Action Item] [Commissioner Tenofsky] The Commission will discuss ACC protocols for when euthanasia is advised and an ordinance codifying the protocols.  
  2. Enforcement of California’s Animal Cruelty Law [Discussion/Action Item] [Commissioner Irani] The Commission will discuss a resolution supporting the enforcement of California Penal Code section 597 as it pertains to farmed animals.
  3. GGNRA Proposed Changes [Discussion/Action Item] [Commissioner Tobin] Updates on recent changes to GGNRA dog walking rules.
  4. Commission Governance [Discussion] [Commissioners Tobin/Irani] The Commission will discuss efforts to secure oversight from a City agency and update Commission administration.  

6. General Public Comment [Discussion Item]
