4. Presentation from Workshop1 [Action]

4200 Third Street mixed use residential project and plan amendment endorsement:

- An increase in the unit count from 95 units to 100 units

- An increase in the inclusionary housing from 18% to 20%

The 4200 3rd St. project involves the construction of a new six-story, transit oriented mixed-used development, with ground floor parking, approximately 6,891 square feet of commercial space, and 95 residential dwelling units. The project site consists of two parcels totaling approximately 34,000 square feet. Mike Pitler, an architect on the project will be giving the presentation.

 

5. Presentation from OCII [Informational]

Jose Campos, Manager of Planning and Design Review, will be giving a presentation on projects that are currently being addressed by Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure

 

6. Bylaw amendments [Action]

-The committee will be voting to amend bylaws. Changing the meeting location from the San Francisco Bayview Hunters Point YMCA, 1601 Lane St., to The South East Community Facility, in the Alex Pitcher Meeting Room, 1800 Oakdale Ave.

10.   General Public Comment 

At this time, members of the public may address the Citizens Advisory Committee on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee but do not appear on the agenda. With respect to agenda items, the public will be given an opportunity to address the Committee when the item is reached in the meeting. Each member of the public may address the Committee for up to three minutes. 

 

The Brown Act forbids a Committee from taking action or discussing any item not appearing on the posted agenda, including those items raised at Public Comment. In response to public comment on an item that is not on the agenda, the Committee is limited to:

 

• Briefly responding to statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or

• Requesting staff to report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or

• Directing staff to place the item on a future agenda. (Government Code Section 54954.2(a).)

 

11. Adjournment

  

Government’s duty is to serve the public, reaching its decisions in full view of the public. Commissions, boards, councils and other agencies of the City and County exist to conduct the people’s business. This ordinance assures that deliberations are conducted before the people and that City operations are open to the people’s review.

The South East Community Facility is on the corner of Oakdale Ave and Phelps St. (1800 Oakdale Ave) and is wheelchair accessible. The closest MUNI stop is on 3rd St, between Oakdale Ave. and Paulo Ave, 3 blocks away. The nearest MUNI lines are the KT Third St Light Rail. There is accessible street parking.
