   • Committee voted in favor of Michael Hamman as Chair and Ellousie Patton as Vice Chair

3. Approval of Minutes [Action] – February 1 , 2017

   • Motion by Christopher Mooney and seconded by Daynas Corman

5. Report from the CAO

   • Brief update to include CAC members’ term status, and members’ request for informational projects.

     • Jack Gallagher discussed the difficulty in filling a seat held by the City Administrator. One applicant stated their interest in the seat, but after a number of tries by Mr. Gallagher the individual has not returned any messages. The open seat held under the Office of the Mayor was still going back and forth with an interested person. No timetable on when they could be appointed. Chair Michael Hamman asked regarding the three open seats that were Non-Voting and if there was still a need for them. (Removal of these seats would need to be done by Resolution of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors as these seats are part of the original legislation in creating the CAC).

     • Discussion was made in regards to 1631 Oakdale. Jack Gallagher has spoken with the project Sponsor and they are hoping to present at a meeting of the CAC very soon.

6. Informational Presentation [Discussion Only]

   • Presentation from the Planning Department

     • Esmeralda Jardines, City Planner with the City and County of San Francisco’s Planning Department, Southeast Section, presented to the CAC on the Property Information Map (PIM) system. The online database is controlled by the Planning Department and represents every property and site within the city limits. The database shows every permit and connects to the Department of Building Inspectors plans. The site also shows zoning regulations and controls for each property.

   • Bay Area Bike Share Program

     • Paolo Cosulich-Schwartz of the Bay Area Bike Share Program presented to the CAC on the expansion of the current “Pilot Program”. The program today is spread throughout the Bay Area mainly in San Francisco (350 Bikes) for a total of 700 Bikes. The expansion of the program will build up to 4,500 bikes in the next few years. This public/private partnership is hoping to expand to the likes of other major US cities (i.e. New York, Portland & Chicago). Once Mr. Cosulich-Schwartz finished his presentation he asked the Committee Members to help pin point location in the Bayview that could possible become Bike Share sites in the future.

8. Next Meeting Schedule [Discussion and Action]

   • The next regularly scheduled meeting is April 5, 2017.

9.  General Public Comment

   • At this time, members of the public may address the Citizens Advisory Committee on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee but do not appear on the agenda. With respect to agenda items, the public will be given an opportunity to address the Committee when the item is reached in the meeting. Each member of the public may address the Committee for up to three minutes.

   • The Brown Act forbids a Committee from taking action or discussing any item not appearing on the posted agenda, including those items raised at Public Comment. In response to public comment on an item that is not on the agenda, the Committee is limited to:

     • Briefly responding to statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or

     • Requesting staff to report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or directing staff to place the item on a future agenda. (Government Code Section 54954.2(a).)

DISABILITY ACCESS

Bayview Hunters Point YMCA is on the corner of Lane and Revere (1601 Lane St.) and is wheelchair accessible. The closest MUNI stop is on 3rd St, between Revere and Shafter Ave, 2 blocks away. The nearest MUNI lines are the KT Third St Light Rail and 44-O’Shaughnessy towards Hunters Point. There is accessible street parking around The Library.

City Hall is between Grove and McAllister Streets and is wheelchair accessible. The closest BART and MUNI Metro Station is Civic Center, about three blocks away. Accessible MUNI lines nearest City Hall are: 42 Downtown Loop, 49 Van Ness-Mission and F-Market & MUNI Metro (Civic Center Station). There is accessible parking available in the vicinity of City Hall.
