4. General Public Comment
At this time, members of the public may address the Citizens Advisory Committee on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee but do not appear on the agenda. With respect to agenda items, the public will be given an opportunity to address the Committee when the item is reached in the meeting. Each member of the public may address the Committee for up to three minutes.
 
The Brown Act forbids a Committee from taking action or discussing any item not appearing on the posted agenda, including those items raised at Public Comment. In response to public comment on an item that is not on the agenda, the Committee is limited to:
 
Briefly responding to statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or
Requesting staff to report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or
Directing staff to place the item on a future agenda. (Government Code Section 54954.2(a).

Announcement of Bayview Industrial Triangle Community Meeting
 
The CAO will present referrals and the CAC will decide whether to hear projects at a future meeting. The following items have been referred:
 
938, 950 and 960 Jamestown Avenue, to include a vertical and horizontal addition to the existing single-family residence (968), contstruct a three-story single family residence with accessory dwelling unit on a vacant lot (960) and demolish an existing garage, split the lot into two separate lots for two new three-story single family dwellings (938&950). Referred on October 1, 2019
 
2912 Hawes Street, to provide a vertical addition, façade alteration, and conversion of existing crawlspace into a garage. Referred on October 3, 2019.
 
1237 Shafter Avenue, to legalize an unauthorized dwelling unit and approve an unpermitted rear addition. Referred on October 10, 2019.
 
922 Jamestown Avenue, to demolish an existing garage and construct a new three-story over basement single-family residence with an Accessory Dwelling Unit. Referred on October 15, 2019.

1100 Thomas Street, to legalize an existing cannabis cultivation facility and associated site work. The project requires a Conditional Use Authorization. Referred September 11, 2019. CAC decided to hear project on October 2, 2019.

At its meeting of October 2, the Bayview Hunters Point Citizens Advisory Committee voted to hear these projects.
 
1560 Wallace Avenue, to construct a metal warehouse on a vacant lot and subdivide into two lots. Requires a Conditional Use Authorization. Referred on July 26, 2019.
 
2285 Jerrold Avenue, to demolish a self-storage facility and construct a six-story mixed-use building containing 315,418sf of commercial storage use, 2,486sf of retail sales and service use (café) and 66,389sf of urban agriculture use on the roof. Requires a Conditional Use Authorization. Referred on August 9, 2019.
 
2144 Revere Avenue, to demolish an existing one car garage and construct a new, 3-story over basement, 4,527sf single-family home. Requires Section 311 notice for residential permit review. Referred on August 21, 2019.
 
101 Bayshore Avenue, to convert an existing automobile service building to a Formula Retail use that sells beer and wine within an existing gas station. Referred on August 27, 2019.

The Southeast Community Facility is on the corner of Oakdale Avenue and Phelps Street (1800 Oakdale Avenue) and is wheelchair accessible.
