  1. Call to Order and Roll Call

    The meeting convened at 2:03 p.m.

    Members present: Chairperson Commissioner Mirkarimi, Commissioners Ammiano, and Schmeltzer.

  2. Approval of Minutes for August 4, 2005

    Public Comment: None

    Commissioner Ammiano moved, seconded by Commissioner Schmeltzer to approve the minutes of August 4, 2005.

    Vote: Ayes: Chairperson Commissioner Mirkarimi, Commissioners Ammiano and Schmeltzer.

    Action: Approved

  3. Staff’s report on R.W. Beck’s proposal and to continue the discussion of the recommendations for the selection of a consultant(s) to perform the valuation of Pacific Gas & Electric’s Transmission and Distribution Facilities (Discussion and Action Item) (Continued from June 10, 2005)

    Commissioner Ammiano indicated he would request a hearing on this item at the Board of Supervisors’ meeting.

  5. Approval of a Proposed not to exceed $25,000 Contract to provide legal services regarding Community Choice Aggregation financing issues (Discussion and Action Item) (Continued from August 4, 2005)

    Chairperson Commissioner Mirkarimi moved, seconded by Commissioner Ammiano, to direct the Executive Officer, in consultation with legal counsel, to enter into negotiations with a firm for the provision of providing legal services regarding Community Choice Aggregation financing issues not to exceed $25,000.

    Vote: Ayes: Chairperson Commissioner Mirkarimi, Commissioners Ammiano, McGoldrick, and Schmeltzer.

  6. Request of Commissioner Mirkarimi to discuss Municipal Cable, Television, High Speed Internet and Broadband Infrastructure (Discussion and Action item)

    Chairperson Commissioner Mirkarimi moved, seconded by Commissioner Ammiano, to continue this item.

    Vote: Ayes: Chairperson Commissioner Mirkarimi, Commissioners Ammiano, McGoldrick, and Schmeltzer.

  7. Request of Commissioner Mirkarimi to hold a hearing on the possibility of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission providing public power for Treasure Island (Discussion)

Accessible MUNI lines serving this location are: #42 Downtown Loop, and the #71 Haight/Noriega and the F Line to Market and Van Ness and the Metro stations at Van Ness and Market and at Civic Center. There is accessible parking in the vicinity of City Hall at Civic Center Plaza and adjacent to Davies Hall and the War Memorial Complex.
