The Police Commission of the City and County of San Francisco met in Room 400, City Hall, #1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, at 5:34 p.m.
PRESENT: Commissioners Mazzucco, Marshall, DeJesus, Chan, Kingsley, Turman, Loftus
Commissioner Mazzucco introduced new Commissioner, Suzy Loftus. Commissioner Loftus then went on to address the audience.

Clyde welcomed new Commissioner Loftus and went on to talk about the takeover of the Turk Street building.
Ray Hartz spoke in regards to public records requests and an incident that happened in the Public Library.

Chief Suhr talked about recent events in the department during the past week including Take your Child to School Day, a basketball tournament sponsored by Bank of America, meeting with Supervisor Campos about youth programs. The Chief then talked about recent vandalisms in the Mission and the Mission Station. The Chief also talked about recent Occupy march and the arrest of 26 individuals.
Commissioner Chan requested that CIT and Language Access be included in next year’s Annual Report.
Sergeant Mike Nevin presented the 1
st Quarter FDRB Findings & Recommendations and the OIS Investigative Summary.
Captain Greg McEachern presented the Document Protocol Report of 2011. Ms. Samara Marion also addressed the Commission.

Director Hicks presented the OCC’s 2011 Annual Report. She also went on to acknowledge members of her staff that were present.

Commissioner Mazzucco reported on recent radio program of Dr. Marshall with the Youth Commission. Commissioner Mazzucco then thanked the Mayor and his staff for his reappointment and thanked his fellow commissioners for their support.
Commissioner Marshall spoke briefly about the Youth Commission and the Street Soldiers Program.
Commissioner Chan congratulated Commissioner Mazzucco for his reappointment and thanked Commissioner Marshall for his show with the Youth Commission.
Commissioner Turman congratulated Commissioner Mazzucco for his reappointment and thanked Commissioner Marshall for his engagement with the Youth Commission. Commissioner Turman also welcomed Commissioner Loftus.
d. Commission Announcements and scheduling of items identified for consideration at future Commission meetings
Inspector Monroe announced that there is no meeting next week and that the Awards Ceremony will be on May 30
th, at 6 p.m., to be held at UCSF Mission Bay Campus.
Commissioner Mazzucco talked about a program with Supervisor Kim regarding exploratory discussion about going into high schools to talk about the police department.
