PUBLIC COMMENT
Ace Washington asked the Chief to look into over reaction by officers and invited the Chief and the Commission to attend the New District 5 Meet & Confer meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Emile Lawrence handed the Commission copies (ETC. magazines submitted) regarding the Chief’s interview and discussed concerns regarding officers with multiple complaints against them.
Ace Washington sang his comments and discussed concerns about conspiracies against him.

Chief Suhr reported briefly on current events happening with the Department. The Chief also talked about meeting with the POA in regards to the development of a Career Development DGO. The Chief also gave a brief update on crime statistics. Chief Suhr reported on events and incidents during the past week in regards to Occupy demos and the 49er game.
Sergeant Nevin and Sergeant Franco presented the 4
th Quarter 2011 FDRB Findings & Recommendations and the OIS Investigative Summary.
Heather McDonald, Controller’s Office, presented the findings and recommendations by the Controller’s Office in regards to the Compstat review requested by the Chief.
Director Susan Giffin presented the Crime Data Warehouse Highlights of the report.

Commissioner Mazzucco reported that the Commission has reached a single digit in the number of disciplinary cases.
Commissioner Turman reported on a meeting with Supervisor Campos on strategies for youth to talk about police interaction with youth.
d. Commission Announcements, scheduling of items identified for consideration at future Commission meetings
Commissioner Kingsley would like DGO 5.17 agendized and asked that scheduling of district meetings be discussed next week.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Emile Lawrence discussed concerns about Compstat and discussed concerns about bringing in someone from Oracle to access programs.
DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE SAN FRANCISCO POLICE COMMISSION RULES OF ORDER TO MODIFY THE COMMISSION’S REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE (RULE 2.4) AND TO MAKE NONSUBSTANTIVE CLEAN UP CHANGES
Commissioner Slaughter presented the proposed amendment of the San Francisco Police Commission Rules of Order to modify the Commission’s regular meeting schedule (Rule 2.4).
Commissioner Mazzucco suggested that the next five months, the Commission will not meet on the 2
nd Wednesday of the month, as a trial period, and will revisit this proposed amendment in June or July.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Emile Lawrence discussed some concerns in changing the meeting schedule and discussed concerns about how communities do not show up and suggested that the commission should also limit their speaking time to three minutes each to speed up the meeting.

Commissioner Kingsley presented the proposed resolution establishing required submissions and reports and scheduling of recurring reports.
