The Police Commission of the City and County of San Francisco met in Room
400, City Hall, #1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, at 5:39 p.m.

REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
a. Chief’s Report
- Review of recent activities
Chief Suhr gave a brief crime update including traffic safety data. The Chief also
talked about Bike to Work Day on May 8th , PAL Golf Tournament, and Traffic Safety
Event held on Monday, May 12th . The Chief also gave a brief update on recent search
warrant that as served in regards to an assault where the suspect was arrested. The
Chief announced that Major City Chiefs meeting will be meeting in San Francisco next
week.

- Presentation of the OCC’s 2013 1st Quarter 2014 Comprehensive Statistical
Report
- Presentation of the OCC’s Statistical Reports & Summary of Cases received in
April 2014, Mediation of Complaints in April 2014, and Adjudication of
Sustained Complaints in April
Director Hicks presented the OCC’s 2013 1st Quarter 2014 Comprehensive
Statistical Report and the April 2014 statistical report.

Commissioner Mazzucco has no report.
Commissioner Loftus talked about Bike to Work Day and spoke about attending
a meeting with the mental health group in regards to Crisis Intervention and would like
to invite them to come to the Commission meeting in June.
Commissioner Hwang spoke in regards to his Swearing-In event on Monday and
thanked the Command Staff and the Commissioners for attending. Commissioner
Hwang also spoke of upcoming Take-Back-the-Block events in the Tenderloin and spoke
of homeless in Portsmouth Square.
Commissioner Turman spoke of meeting with the office of the District Attorney
in regards to officer-involved shooting process.
d. Commission Announcements and scheduling of items identified for
consideration at future Commission meetings
Inspector Monroe announced that the meeting in the Northern will be on May
28th at Sacred Heart Cathedral High School Theatre, 1100 Ellis Street, starting at 6 p.m.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Ms. Paulette Brown spoke in regards to the homicide case of her son Aubry
Abrakasa, Jr., case no. 060 862 038, and posted names of suspects: Thompson
Hannibal, Paris Moffett, Andrew Videau, Jason Thomas, & Anthony Hunter, and asked
for justice for her son. Chief Suhr announced the anonymous tip line 575-4444.
Mariam spoke in regards to threats made to her and her daughter.
