1. Call for Public Comment. (Time reserved for introduction of guests and general comments by guests).
2. Officers REPORTS
- President’s Report; President Stephen Noetzel to report on various issues including (but not limited to),
> Introduction of 3 newly appointed Commissioners and status of new BOS Vacant Seat #3.
- Vice Presidents Report; Vice President Michael Maffei to report on various issues.
- Secretary’s Report; Sec’y Dwane Kennedy to report on recent correspondence/communications, etc.
3. NEW Business
- Veteran Mental Health Issues. Continued discussion and potential appointment to specific Research Team to study additional areas including, (but not limited to) Depression, Suicide, PTSD, etc.
- Decline of the San Francisco Veterans Day Parade: Prognosis and Potential. Discussion and potential appointment of Research team or committee to examine History and current Sate of subject Parade, and potential alternatives.
4. OLD Business
- Restorative Justice for Port Chicago Sailors. Reports by Research team leader Comm. A. Jenkins and Ad hoc advisor S. Noetzel. Discussion will include appointment opportunity, should another Commissioner indicate interest.
- VAC letter Requesting for Support for Establishment of a Veterans Affairs Commission in City of San Jose, CA. In the absence of Veteran Sam Pandy, V.P. M. Maffei to report on distribution of Commission Letter and response.
- Development of Veterans Advocate Position in City Government
In the absence of Veteran Sam Pandy, Comm. J. Marshall (Research Team Leader on this initiative), to report on potential for a Veterans Advocate and/or development of a permanent Administrative position within city government.
- VAC Research Team on Moral Injury. Commissioners B. Smith and D. Guy to report and disseminate information.
Potential Action Item to endorse/support Community Discussion event on this issue
- Potential for Veterans Issues Panel at U.S. Mayors Conference, in S.F., June, 2015. Comm. J. Marshal to report.
- Protocols for Equitable Assignment to Veterans Housing Comm. S. Noetzel and J. Gallagher to report.
5. Veterans Related LEGISLATION. Commissioners invited to inform Commission on new or potential Legislation regarding Veterans or Veterans Community.
6. WAR MEMORIAL VETERANS BUILDING (Commissioners invited to present/discuss recent developments in this area)
7. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Floor opened for short announcements of veteran related events and/or activities
8. Honors Report and Moment of Silence:
In memory of American Armed Service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in all wars and conflicts, plus the passing of homeless veterans and veterans who died while waiting approval of benefits requests and suicides within the veterans and armed services community.

General Meetings of the VAC are scheduled for 6:00pm (on) the SECOND TUESDAY of every month, (with rare exception), and are generally held in ROOM 416 in CITY HALL
MEETING CONFIRMATION, and Specific Announcement of General Meetings are made via public Posting of MEETING AGENDAS as required by law, some 72 hours prior to scheduled meetings. Agendas for Commission Meetings (and archive of Meeting Minutes) are available on the VAC Pages of the City of San Francisco WEBSITE, and are also available for Public View and inspection at the (5th Floor) Government Information Center of the San Francisco (Main) Public Library, at 100 Larkin St., San Francisco 94102.
