SHOUT! For Women Veterans Art Show!
Swords to Plowshares is pleased to present the 8th annual SHOUT! For Women Veterans Art show! This yearly event raises awareness about the issues facing women veterans and explores the intersections of art, community, health and healing through artistic expression and participation. We have the unique opportunity of working with nationally acclaimed photographer and Bay
Area local, Tom Sanders, to create a series of portraits and written experiences of women veterans. These portraits and stories will illuminate the experiences of women veterans, and give voice to their unique challenges.
SHOUT! 2016 is generously hosted by our partners at Zendesk. Light appetizers and beverages will be served. This community event is free.

Pacific Gas and Electric Military Career Day
To highlight PG&E's 1,000 Careers Project and its commitment to hire 1,000 veterans by 2023, PG&E and Sonoma Raceway invite you to participate in the 2nd annual Military Career Day event. The day will feature workshops, panel presentations, and a job fair. The event will focus on translating participant skill sets for military members transitioning to the job market, and include information on non-traditional careers for women.

On Monday, June 20, there will be a unique opportunity to enjoy a three-course dinner with a screening of the award-winning documentary The Ghost Army and a presentation of Remembered Light: The McDonald Peace Project. Honors Report and Moment of Silence: In memory of American Armed Service Members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in all wars and conflicts, plus the passing of homeless veterans and veterans who died while waiting approval of benefits requests and suicides within the veterans and armed services community.
