Golden Gate Park Access and Safety Project

This past week, SFMTA and the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department hosted two virtual information sessions on the Golden Gate Access & Safety Program. We appreciated the opportunity to share the proposals with the community and hear feedback and thoughts related to the program.

If you were able to attend, thank you for being there! If you were unable to be there and want to watch the meetings, both of the virtual information sessions were recorded. The videos have been uploaded to the event pages:

Additionally, the presentation materials can be downloaded from the Golden Gate Park Access & Safety Program web page.

If you haven’t done so already, we invite you to explore the online StoryMap, accessible from the program web page, for even more details about the proposals for the park, and to fill out the survey at the end. Both are available in English, Chinese, Spanish, Filipino, and Russian.

If you experiencing difficulties accessing any of this content, or if you have an accessibility question or concern of any kind that remains unaddressed, please feel free to contact the Mayor’s Office on Disability at mod@sfgov.org or call 415 554-6789 for assistance. You may also sign up to receive e-mail updates from MOD  regarding citywide accessibility impacts and disability community engagement opportunities.

Both Rec&Park and SFMTA staff will be present at a number of events across the city this fall to answer questions and take feedback on the park proposals. You can find the complete calendar of outreach events on the program web page—we hope to see you there!
