            the MDC.  
Each speaker is limited to two minutes.

6.         INFORMATION AND ACTION ITEM:  The withdrawal of MDC’s endorsement of
            ballot propositions in the upcoming November 2004 election.  Presentation from City
            Attorney’s Office.

7.         DISCUSSION ITEM:  Council Member comments and announcements.

Members of the public who wish to listen to and/ or participate in this meeting but are unable to physically attend, may call into the Council’s ‘Telephone Bridge Line’ at 554-9632.  Up to thirty persons may listen on this conference line, and may be recognized to speak during public comment periods.  Call 554-9632 after 1:00 p.m. and a staff person will handle requests to speak at the appropriate times on the agenda.

Accessible Meeting Information

 

City Hall is accessible to persons using wheelchairs and other disabilities.  Assistive listening devices are available and meetings are real-time captioned and sign language interpreted. Agendas are available in large print and Braille.  Other materials are available in alternative formats upon request.  Please make your requests for alternative format or other accommodations to the Council Clerk, Howard O. Wong, 554-6789 (V), 554-6799 (TTY). Requesting accommodations at least 72 hours prior to the meeting will help to ensure availability.

  The nearest accessible BART station is Civic Center Plaza at the intersection of Market, Grove, and Hyde Streets.  The accessible MUNI Metro lines are the J, K, L, M, and N (Civic Center Station or Van Ness Avenue Station).  MUNI bus lines serving the area are the 47 Van Ness, 9 San Bruno, and the 6, 7, 71 Haight/ Noriega.  Accessible curbside parking is available on 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place and Grove Street.

  In order to assist the City’s efforts to accommodate persons with severe allergies, environmental illness, multiple chemical sensitivity or related disabilities, attendees at public meetings are reminded that other attendees may be sensitive to perfumes and various other chemical-based scented products.  Please help the City to accommodate these individuals.
