8. INFORMATION AND DISCUSSION ITEM: Transit Effectiveness Project (TEP) – Draft Proposals to Transform Muni. Presentation by Julie Kirschbaum, TEP Program Manager, SFMTA; and Britt Tanner, Associate Engineer, SFMTA. TEP is the first comprehensive effort in over a generation to review San Francisco 's Muni system and recommend ways to improve service. The project team has developed a comprehensive set of preliminary service and route proposals with the goal of getting people to where they want to go quickly, reliably, and safely. These draft proposals are the result of extensive outreach to Muni customers, and will be further refined through continued public dialogue. Accessible Meeting Information
City Hall is accessible to persons using wheelchairs and other disabilities. The Polk Street/ Carlton B. Goodlett entrance is accessible via a ramp and a wheelchair lift. The other three entrances are accessible via ramps. Assistive listening devices are available and the meeting itself will be real-time captioned and sign language interpreted. Agendas are available in large print and Braille. Other materials are available in alternative formats upon request. The nearest accessible BART station is Civic Center Plaza at the intersection of Market, Grove, and Hyde Streets. MUNI bus lines serving the area are the 47 & 49 Van Ness, 9 San Bruno, and the 6, 7, 71 Haight/ Noriega. Accessible curbside parking is available on 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place and Grove Street.
