Department of Parking and Traffic accessibility information and issues

    Issues include enforcement of sidewalk obstructions to path of travel;
    ticketing of vehicles in bus zones and blue zones; dispatch; installation of blue zones in residential areas; red-painting of curb ramps; numbers of blue zones in residential areas and downtown; and others.

    For those who cannot attend in person, meetings are accessible on CityWatch Channel 54. Call 557-4293 for listings.

Accessibility:

    City Hall is accessible to persons using wheelchairs, and others with disabilities. Asssistive listening devices are available and meetings are open-captioned in the hearing room. Agendas are available in large print. Materials in alternative formats and/or American Sign Language interpreters will be made available upon request. Please make your request for reasonable accommodations at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.

    The nearest accessible BART station is Civic Center Plaza at the intersection of Market, Grove, and Hyde Streets. The accessible MUNI Metro lines are the J, K, L, M, and N. MUNI bus lines serving the area are the 42 Downtown Loop, 9 San Bruno, and the 7 Haight/ Noriega. Accessible curbside parking is available on Grove Street.

    Individuals with severe allergies, environmental illnesses, multiple chemical sensitivities and/or related disabilities should contact the office to discuss meeting accessibility.
