1. Introductory Exercise: An opportunity for the Council Members to share their motivation for their continuing participation in the MDC. Facilitated by Co-Chair Supanich.

2. ADA Basics: The Context for MOD & MDC’s Work. Presentation by Joanna Fraguli, MOD staff.

3. Working Together:
A. An introduction to the Mayor’s Office on Disability. An explanation of MOD’s Role. Presentation by Carla Johnson, MOD Interim Director.
B. An introduction to the Mayor’s Disability Council. A discussion about the MDC’s Role.

C. How MOD and the MDC work together towards common goals. Facilitated discussion by Co-Chairs Supanich and Wilson.

Accessible Meeting Information

City Hall is accessible to persons using wheelchairs and other disabilities. The Polk Street/ Carlton B. Goodlett entrance is currently not fully accessible because the wheelchair lift is scheduled for a replacement. The other three entrances are accessible via ramps. Assistive listening devices are available and the meeting itself will be real-time captioned and sign language interpreted. Agendas are available in large print and Braille. Other materials are available in alternative formats upon request. The nearest accessible BART station is Civic Center Plaza at the intersection of Market, Grove, and Hyde Streets. The accessible MUNI Metro lines are the J, K, L, M, and N (Civic Center Station or Van Ness Avenue Station). MUNI bus lines serving the area are the 47 Van Ness, 9 San Bruno, and the 6, 7, 71 Haight/ Noriega. Accessible curbside parking is available on 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place and Grove Street.
