Approval of minutes of May 11, 2005. (Comstock/Craven)

Administrator’s report.

  1. 1/25/05 Order of Determination progress report on the complaint of Brinkman, Christensen, and Vaughn against the Golden Gate Park Concourse Authority and the Order of Determination that was referred to the Board of Supervisors, Ethics Commission, and Recreation & Parks Commission.
  2. 3/8/04 Order of Determination, progress report on the complaint of Peter Warfield against the Public Library and the Order of Determination that was referred to the Ethics Commission and the District Attorney.
  3. 2/22/05 Order of Determination progress report on the complaint of Rosenfeld v Sheriff’s Department, referral letter to the Ethics Commission.
  4. 5/24/05 Order of Determination progress report on the complaint of Kelly v Treasurer/Tax Collector.

Administrator gave report.

Speakers: David Pilpel, spoke on Orders of Determination referrals to Ethics Commission.

Discussion of conducting a survey for individuals whom has filed a SOTF complaint and how well SOTF has responded to their complaint(s).

Discussed survey list and developing draft survey.

Speakers: David Pilpel, providing copy of survey responses to Complaint Committee.

Discussion of possible amendments to the Sunshine Ordinance

  1. "Passive meeting" and "passive meeting bodies."

    Speakers: David Pilpel, opinion on (C2) of the handout.

    Continue discussion to next meeting.

  2. Other relevant issues that the Task Force wish to raise.

Speakers: David Pilpel, spoke on Mail/Repro and referenced Brown Act and cost of duplication. Also submitted work on amendments to committee members.

Continue to next meeting.
