3. Department/agency feedback regarding Sunshine Ordinance Amendments including but not limited to the Office of the City Attorney.

Speakers: Paul Zarefsky, Deputy City Attorney provided feedback to Committee regarding Sunshine Ordinance Amendments; David Pilpel, public member, spoke on open meetings and Administrative Code Section 12L (Non-profit).

Discussion of conducting a survey for individuals who have filed a SOTF complaint and how well SOTF has responded to their complaint(s).

The Committee Members requested the Administrator to make it a standard practice to provide a copy of the survey to public members who have contacted the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force.

Member Craven discussed the timeline of discussion regarding Sunshine Ordinance Amendment. Member Comstock suggested that an annual Sunshine award be given to departments who comply with the Sunshine Ordinance.

Speaker: David Pilpel, public member suggested to Committee members to invite Mr. Paul Zarefsky and other City departments to participate on future discussions regarding the Sunshine Ordinance Amendments.
