Adoption of December 9, 2010, regular meeting minutes.

Public Comment: None

Continued. Without objection.

Hearing on the status of the August 6, 2010, Order of Determination of Barry Taranto against the Municipal Transportation Board.

Public Comment: Tomas Picarello said the Task Force needs to decide what to do when respondents do not show up.

Continued. Without objection.

Hearing on the status of the August 28, 2010, Order of Determination of Nick Pasquariello against the Department of Technology.

Heard: Barry Fraiser said staff procedure has been changed to avoid late responses.

Public Comment: None.

Matter concluded.

Hearing on the status of the August 28, 2010, Order of Determination of Thomas Picarello against the SRO Task Force.

Heard: Thomas Picarello said he has been allowed to comment at SRO Task Force meetings. The respondent was not present. No one in the audience presented facts and evidence on behalf of the respondent.

Referred to full Task Force. Without objection.

Inviting other Counties to discuss Sunshine issues.

Public Comment: None

Continued. Without objection.

Creation of guide for City employees on how to respond to a Sunshine request.

Public Comment: None

Continued. Without objection.

Outreach: Presentation on the Sunshine Ordinance requested by the San Francisco Local Homeless Coordinating Board.

Presentation to be made March 7, 2011.

Public comment for items not listed on the agenda. Tomas Picarello spoke about the meeting minutes, the complaint process, and departments’ response time.

Committee Members’ Comments, Questions, and Requests for Future Agenda Items

Member Johnson wanted the Facebook issue put on the agenda. Chair Chan agreed.
Chair Knee to invite ethnic media to the next meeting.

Public Comment: Thomas Picarello said website should promote vacancies.

There being no further business, the Education, Outreach and Training Committee adjourned at the hour of 4:34 p.m.
