Public comment for items not listed on the agenda:

Ray Hartz said people ought to be able to voice their opinions at public meetings. Some departments, he said, manipulate the agenda when they see many people in the audience. They go into long closed sessions and by the time they finish, the majority of the audience has left, allowing them to rush through the agenda.

William Clark said the Arts Commission has stationed a police presence at their meetings following an exchange between his brother and commission representatives.

Robert Clark said he and his twin brother started the Street Artists program 40 years ago and are on top of the financial situation ever since. Currently, he said, he and his brother are having problems with the City Attorney’s Office over information regarding an alleged embezzlement.
