MINUTES

Thursday, January 3, 2002

4:00 p.m., City Hall, Room 406

Committee Members:           Daniel Guillory, Chair; Heather Sterner; Marjorie Ann Williams

Roll Call: All present

(All motions adopted unanimously except as noted. First name indicates initiator of motion; second name indicates seconder of motion.)

1. Minutes of November 6, 2001. Approved. (Williams/Guillory)

2. Community Liaison Volunteer work program. Discussion held of approved work program.

3. Progress of implementing work plan. Discussion item

--Volunteer Community Liaison

Motion adopted for Chair to draft introductory paragraph inviting persons to apply for Community Liaison Volunteer for one-year term. (Sterner/Williams)

--Upcoming neighborhood meetings

Discussion held regarding meeting with neighborhood groups.

--Information to non-profit groups

Motion adopted that Member Sterner draft a letter to non-profits, for approval of Task Force Chair, to be sent to non-profits before the next meeting. (Williams/Guillory)

4. Public Comment

Sue Cauthen spoke regarding public records retrieval problems.

The meeting adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
